Gorahun Community Charging Station
This project builds on the excellent partnership between Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and Energy For Opportunity in Sierra Leone. Five of WHH's office are at least partially powered by EFO installed solar power and they have been a strong supporter of the organisation since we started. This is the second livelihoods project the two have done and the first Community Charging Station, with additional installations in the planning.

Rokupr Community Charging Station
Continuing our slow and steady spread across Sierra Leone, Energy For Opportunity installed our first Community Charging Station in Kambia District. The installation was completed in Rokupr, a trading centre about 10km south of Kambia Town.

Koinadugu District Community Charging Stations
Partnering with GIZ, who provided product and logistics support, our Engineers installed a total of four CCSs and set up an additional five distribution points through individual business owners, providing solar lighting and phone charging facilities to eleven of the twelve Chiefdoms of Koinadugu District.
