Solar Water Pumping Course

ENFO recently welcomed Bernard Glaser from DENG Ltd in Ghana to Sierra Leone to teach a Solar Water Pumping course at Government Technical Institute. This course was made possible through the AusAID grant that is funding some of our work in Kamakwie and Kamalo and has been a great addition to the other courses being offered at the school. The course was being offered primarily to students and staff from the Plumbing programme but also included four lecturers from the Electrical Engineering department and another from the Refrigeration department. In addition to being of interest and directly applicable to work in Sierra Leone, the training helps move the programme closer to full certification, as the lecturers gain valuable experience and accreditation.
